The Novak 1S LiPo Booster Module (#5477) is for single-cell racing; it replaces the receiver battery pack and will provide a constant 6 volts and 3 amps of power to the receiver and servo in your race set-up. This module connects to your main battery pack and will actually ¡°boost¡± the battery pack¡¯s 3-4 volts to a standard 6 volts for the duration of the run-- which allows the receiver and servo to operate as they are intended to. There is no need for special wiring or recharging of a receiver battery pack. Simply connect the module¡¯s power wires to the main battery pack or the ESC¡¯s battery terminals, and plug the harness into your receiver¡¯s battery slot.

The Novak 1S Booster Module easy to connect, extremely small and lightweight. It is compatible with brushless or brush speed controls that would normally operate with a 2-3S LiPo pack. By increasing the battery pack voltage to the receiver and servo, the module allows you to use any radio receiver in single-cell applications, including spread spectrum radios. The usual voltage fluctuations that cause reception issues with your radio using 1S LiPo packs are no longer a concern. It is recommended to use the Novak Glitch Buster Capacitor (#5626) with 2.4GHz radio systems to ensure trouble-free operation.

Note: This unit replaces the Smart Boost 1-Cell Step-Up Module (#5474), and does not include LiPo cutoff circuitry.
